PENALTY NOTICE: There may be a penalty assessed (Late Enrollment Penalty or LEP) if one delays prescription drug coverage after first becoming eligible and not having creditable coverage. The penalty is 1% of the base premium for every month that you didn’t have coverage after Medicare eligibility and continues to be paid monthly. If you do have a Late Enrollment Penalty, we can help determine whether your income meets certain requirements to apply for the penalty to be waived through Social Security.
